The Island Of Hvar

The island of Hvar is the most famous Croatian island. People live here for (at least) 7000 years. That means Hvar has an extremely rich history and culture you can explore. 

On top of that Hvar is the sunniest island in Europe and the best island in Europe (officially for 2019).

You have heard about Hvar town for sure.

A cosmopolitan town with top-notch restaurants and nightlife. Beaches on Pakleni islands, fort Španjola (Fortica) and the oldest public theatre in Europe are just some of the MUST SEE places.

Stari Grad, the oldest town in Croatia, keeps its Dalmatian soul untouched for over 2400 years. UNESCO protected plain - Ager hides many gems. Yet, Oxa Dreamland is the shiniest of them all.

Vrboska is also called Little Venice because of small bridges and a romantic atmosphere in the whole town. If your inner child still lives Aqua Park Soline is the place to go.

Go to Jelsa to taste some high-end wines. If you are into wine, mark the last weekend in August on your calendar. Festival of Wine happens then. If you aren’t into wines go to the Festival of Wine anyway. It’s a time when whole Jelsa dances, sings, and parties.

On the east, Sućuraj enjoys its peace.
Drive from Stari Grad to Sućuraj and you’ll get to see untouched nature on a part of the island called Plame.
